Who the call is for
The call is for Australian employers, from local SMEs to global corporations, who are hiring or thinking of sponsoring overseas workers. It suits business owners, HR teams and hiring managers who want a clear read on their options before spending money on applications.
It is equally useful if you have never sponsored before, if you already hold Standard Business Sponsorship approval, or if something has gone wrong, such as a refused nomination or a compliance concern.
What the call covers
- Sponsorship. Becoming an approved sponsor, and what Standard Business Sponsorship involves for your business.
- Nominations. The Subclass 482 Skills in Demand visa, the Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme and the Subclass 494 regional visa, and which fits the role you are filling.
- Labour agreements and DAMA. Where the standard program does not fit, labour agreements and Designated Area Migration Agreements can open occupations and concessions.
- Compliance. Your obligations as a sponsor, which continue for the life of the sponsorship, and how to stay on the right side of them.

Is the strategy call really free?
Yes. The call is free and there is no obligation to engage us afterwards. If you do want our help, we agree the scope and a fixed fee in writing before any work begins, so you know the cost up front.
Do we need to be an approved sponsor already?
No. Many employers come to us before they have ever sponsored. The call covers whether sponsorship is open to your business, what Standard Business Sponsorship involves, and the nomination and visa steps that follow. See our employer sponsorship page for an overview.
Which visa programs can you advise on?
We advise on the Subclass 482 Skills in Demand visa across its Specialist Skills, Core Skills and Labour Agreement streams, the Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme, the Subclass 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional visa, labour agreements and DAMAs.
